Vieni Vai received the Tenant Improvements Restaurant Remodel award for 2006.  The owners, Giuseppe and Debby, wanted to recreate an Italian cafe, where people watch the world go by, eat, drink and socialize.  Giuseppe and Debby enlarged the bar area and installed French doors opening to the street.  They are proud of this achievment and feel this award encourages each of us to care for the look and feel of downtown San Luis Obispo.

In 2004, the Cal Poly Student Newspaper voted Vieni Vai the Best Italian Cuisine in town .  Vieni Vai was proud to win this award because they  feel Cal Poly is an important aspect of San Luis Obispo.  Vieni Vai is pleased that so many students enjoy the food and also find the prices affordable.
