Italian Flavor Comes Alive at Vieni Vai

Italy comes to Higuera Street in the cozy atmosphere of Vieni Vai.  On a recent lunch time visit a fire roared from the pizza oven as the chef wrestled a large pie into place.  Business people, tourists, and local families are equally at home here with the buttery yellow walls and stenciled ivy.  What makes this restaurant uniquely Italian evoking images of an authentic European cafe?  The drinks and desserts for starters.  Aranciata, San Bitter, and Crodino are all imported Italian soft drinks.  Between the multiple gelato flavors and the myriad pizza and pasta offerings, plan to show up hungry, or just order an antipasto because in true Italian style, the food is plentiful and filling.
